Ryan Stanbury, creatively known as Ryan the Artkitect, is a Jamaican-American recording artist, composer, and alchemist hailing from Hackettstown, New Jersey. Baptized by the vibrations of sweet Reggae music and raised to the tune of Brooklyn block parties and an eclectic mix of American popular music, Ryan began his musical journey at the age of 7, first on the violin, followed by the trumpet at age 8, and then the drums shortly after. While the trumpet became his voice, the drums would soon become the pulse of his unending curiosity for all things music. This curiosity blossomed into an unmistakable passion that cleared a path for him to continue his education beginning at the University of Cincinnati, and culminating at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.
As a performer, Ryan has played on stages across the United States and abroad as both a musician, and musical director alongside a colorful array of bands and artists. His recorded musical offerings can be heard throughout an ever-expanding catalog of recorded collaborations as an instrumentalist, composer, producer, and mixer via Wilberforce & Annie; his music production company founded in 2021.
